Formerly The Matrix of Belonging, the new DiLorenzo Studios has launched its new website and expanded its services. Award winning producer, Linda DiLorenzo, now brings her video documentary producing skills to the business world. For fifteen years the Matrix of Belonging has traveled the country producing Family Video Documentaries honoring the ordinary and poignant events in individual families lives and preserving their history for future generations. DiLorenzo Studios is in final post production for Terri McClernon, The Food Fairy’s first in a series of DVD’s.

Like a fairy on your shoulder Terri will cook right along with you on her Cook Once – Eat For Weeks DVD. For more than 12 years Terri has been a personal chef in the Triangle of NC. She was looking for a way to spread her wings worldwide and reach people who could not afford the services of a personal chef. DiLorenzo Studios had already produced an online web video for The Food Fairy’s home page of her website, so there was already a good working relationship in place when she approached us to produce her Cook Once – Eat For Weeks DVD. The production involved an all day, three- camera shoot in a beautiful kitchen setting, fairy wings and all. The DVD takes the family cook through the steps it takes to create 2 weeks worth of dinners, depending on the size of your family. Each series will feature different menus as well as some specialty menus for various healthy concerns. The first DVD will be available in January 2009.

DiLorenzo Studios has been chosen to implement web technology goals for the NC Bar Association Foundation with the production of several website videos.

The NC Bar Association wanted to highlight their foundation’s giving program on their website to reach a new generation of legal professionals. In the past, major donors were in the 55 and older generation and their method of donations were by mail or in person. These donations tended to be recognition based. The current generation is looking for more “cause” related contribution opportunities.

DiLorenzo Studios created a series of eight (1— 3 minute) videos optimized for both the web and mailings for more targeted audiences. The videos are targeted to reach 35–55yr. old lawyers and other legal professionals who are web savvy. The video will encourage pride in their profession, present an array of choices for giving and show the ease of contributing on line. The video is part of a strategic marketing plan to increase funding, raise awareness and bring their technology use to a higher standard.

PBS Visions Program selects Dilorenzo Studios production of Lara Parker: A Self Determined Life for air. Dilorenzo Studios brings your story to life. “If we knew each other’s stories we would all be kinder, more compassionate people,” Producer/Director, Linda Dilorenzo says. “The details take different forms for each of us but the basic struggle is always existence itself. Even though we hesitate to identify with Lara’s life, her story carries meaning for us all.” This is part of the inspiration for Community Documentaries produced by Dilorenzo Studios. Each of us has a story that only we can tell.

Lara Parker was in her 28th year of life and in declining health. She wanted her message to go on and be of service to the self-advocacy movement she helped begin. This video allowed her to do just that and serves as a legacy to a life well lived.
